# Stakeholders

Stakeholders are people *inside* the organization they are created under, but *outside* your group of analysts using Liberty91. They can be, for example, the security officer of a particular business unit, wanting to receive alerts on a specific asset, or region. It could be the CISO of a customer organization, if you operate Liberty91 as an MSSP. IT could also be a product owner, responsible for patching specific assets, and they want to be informed as soon as new reporting on their assets emerges.

Stakeholders are people who receive alerts directly on a particular subject, bypassing you and other Liberty91-users in your organization. This allows you to send threat reports to your stakeholders on a particular subject in real-time, at the cost of a final, human review of the product.
