Assets are technologies, hosted in or on your infrastructure

Assets are incredibly useful - they allow you to really customize Threat Intelligence Products for each Organization. You can let Liberty91 track threats specific to your Attack Surface in real-time, review emerging threats every day in your morning reports and create Threat Profiles for each assets, based on the absolute latest events. All without lifting a finger.

Asset objects are technologies with a vendor, a product and a version, optinally hosted on a domain or an IP-address.

Assets can be added manually, or through an integration with systems like Attack Surface Management systems. Liberty91 offers integrations with HexioSec and FullHunt. By integrating with any of these solutions, Liberty91 can keep a dynamic, up-to-date view of the attack-surfaces of each of your organizations. This means you never have to track or update your assets to keep an eye on them: Liberty91 will update your assets and track any new threats to your them in real-time.

Adding new assets

To create a new asset for an Organization, open the Organization's drop-down menu in the sidebar, then choose 'Assets'. In the assets-overview, click 'Add'. That will allow you to provide the name of the vendor, product and version. You can then choose or add new hosts this technology is hosted on.

'Product' is the only required value, but providing a vendor and version number will help with reporting accuracy. For example: many vulnerabilities will only apply to certain versions of a particular technology. If you are hosting a non-vulnerable version, it's useful for Liberty91 to know, so we can give you accurate Intelligence.
