PDF-Import

The PDF Import Module allows you to take a report in PDF-form and include it to your collection. This is useful in, for example, the following cases:

• one of your own reports

• a report received by e-mail from a peer organization

• a PDF-report directly downloaded from the internet

• an online report from a non-Liberty91 source, saved as a PDF

Provide the title of the report, as well as the source (the name of the person or organization that you received the report from). If the report has a cover page, please tick the box. Liberty91 will then ignore the first page: this is useful because PDF reports are typically hard to read and parse, and a title page contains information that likely ends up scrambled in the event.

Choose the report from your local machine, and click upload.

After the new event is created, it will appear in the middle column on your recent threat dashboard. Liberty91 will also analyze and enrich the new event for mentions of threats, assets, MITRE ATT&CK Techniques and Indicators of Compromise (IOCs). Please make sure you double-check the results, as some IOCs may not parse correctly from a PDF.
